Our Story
My name is Victoria. Let me tell you a little origin story of how
Victoria's Handcrafted Gift Boxes came to be.
December 15th, 2023. Today is my 35th Birthday. I am at work on a Friday morning, and I start to feel a terrible pain that has me hunched over and yelling out in pain. My co-workers immediately jumped into action, calling my husband and getting me to the back of the office to sit down. Daily, constantly, and consistently, my co-workers checked on me. What seemed to be no big deal, ended up being a kidney stone and a severe kidney infection that had me in and out of the hospital for over a month. My work is very much seasonal, and this is peak season here in South Florida. My Co-workers took all the extra work load and handled it without once mentioning the inconvenience of it. They only wanted to hear about my well being. I needed a way to thank them, and with this sprung a surprising discovery. I have a deep seeded gift giving love language. I felt so much joy putting these together. Once I began putting my co-workers gift boxes together, I began to flood myself with ideas. The creativity wouldn't stop flowing. I wanted to make the gift boxes I created for them but with endless options.
